These Terms govern your access to and use of elevahomehub.site ("the Site"), operated by Priyadarshini Behera ("we", "us", "our"). By using the Site you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.
What the Site is
A body of written reference material about consumer smart home equipment, published independently.
It is a publication, not a service. No technical assistance is offered through it — no live help, no fault diagnosis, no remote access, no installation, no repair work and no account handling. Nothing written on these pages should be read as an offer to supply any of that, and browsing the Site brings no service arrangement into existence between us. The Disclaimer Notice sets this out at length.
No affiliation exists between us and Amazon.com, Inc., nor between us and any manufacturer, retailer or platform operator.
Intellectual property
Ours. All content on the Site — text, structure, layout, design elements, graphics, and the compilation of it — belongs to Priyadarshini Behera or her licensors, and is protected by the Indian Copyright Act, 1957 and international copyright law.
What you may do. Read, view and print pages for personal, non-commercial reference. Save a copy for offline reading. Quote brief excerpts for commentary, criticism, review or education with clear attribution to ElevaHome Hub and a link to the source page. Link to any page on the Site.
What you may not do. Without our prior written permission, you may not reproduce, republish or redistribute substantial portions of the content in any medium; use it commercially, including within a paid product or service; create derivative works from it; scrape, harvest or systematically extract it by automated means; use it to train machine learning or generative AI systems; remove or alter copyright, attribution or disclaimer notices; frame or mirror the Site; present its content as your own; or use our name, branding or content in any way implying affiliation or endorsement.
Third-party marks referenced here remain their owners' property and are used for identification only, as set out in the Disclaimer Notice.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Site unlawfully; to attempt unauthorized access to the Site, its servers or connected infrastructure; to introduce malicious code or interfere with normal operation; to place unreasonable automated load on our infrastructure; to impersonate ElevaHome Hub or Priyadarshini Behera, or misrepresent your relationship with us; or to present yourself to anyone as a support provider using our content.
No warranty
This Site and everything on it are made available in whatever state they happen to be in, with no warranty attached, whether stated outright or implied by law. So far as the law allows, every such warranty is disclaimed — merchantability, fitness for any particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement included.
We promise neither uninterrupted availability nor freedom from error, and we do not undertake that what is written here is complete, current, or applicable to the device, network or circumstances in front of you.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law: we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Site; we are not liable for loss of data, lost profits, business interruption, damage to hardware, or disruption to network configuration arising from reliance on Site content; and our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Site, whether in contract, tort or otherwise, shall not exceed INR 5,000.
Some jurisdictions will not allow every exclusion set out above; where that is so, each applies only as far as that jurisdiction permits. In no case is liability limited here for fraud, for fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other matter the law forbids excluding.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Priyadarshini Behera and any contributors against any claim, demand, loss or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Site, or your violation of any law or third-party right.
Links and advertising
Outbound links and advertising from third parties may both appear on these pages. Neither sits under our control, and we take no responsibility for what such a party publishes, how it behaves, or whether it remains reachable. Nothing should be inferred from the presence of a link or an advertisement; whatever passes between you and an outside party is a matter for the two of you.
Availability and changes
Any part of this Site may be altered, paused or withdrawn whenever we judge it appropriate, announced or otherwise, and these Terms may likewise be rewritten at any point. Whatever appears on this page is the text currently binding, and carrying on with the Site after a rewrite signifies acceptance of it.
Privacy
Our Privacy Policy applies alongside these Terms and forms part of them.
Governing law and jurisdiction
The laws of India govern these Terms and anything arising from them or from the Site, and these Terms fall to be interpreted under those laws, conflict-of-laws rules set aside.
Disputes are to be brought before the competent courts in India, which have exclusive jurisdiction — save where consumer protection legislation where you live entitles you to proceed in your local courts instead.
Severability and entire agreement
Should a court find any clause here invalid or unenforceable, that clause is to be narrowed, or removed, only so far as necessary, and everything else continues to bind. Declining to enforce a clause on one occasion waives nothing.
Taken with the Privacy Policy, the Disclaimer Notice and the Editorial Policy, this document is the complete understanding between you and us concerning the Site.
